The latest Hell Drivers news...
Changes in Hell Drivers Land!
Monday 8th February 2016.
Things are changing in Hell Drivers land - we are sad to announce that after 18 years of gigging with Gram and Marc in numerous bands The Beatmaster has left Hell Drivers.
We don't think he's fully hung up his sticks and ‘gone fishing’ just yet and we hope he’ll be back behind his kit in a new project or band sometime soon – whatever he does next we'll keep you updated and promote it like mad via this Facebook!
And then there were 3....or not!
We've had a fair long lay off from gigging and in that time Mutt 'The Magician' has had a lot of offers to take up bass duties elsewhere, again it's a sad announcement but Mutt has decided to move on to The Bodegas - yes we will be promoting them like mad here too!!
So you’re getting the theme here, we are at present down to a duo!
Don't panic we're not about to pick up the acoustics and start playing elevator music at tea dances.....far from it....
Hell Drivers are a rock and roll band and hell we're gonna rock!
Marc and Gram will be recruiting a new bass player and drummer and will be back out gigging, writing, recording and rocking.
There will be ads on our Facebook, our Twitter, there's one already here on this website and they will be anywhere else we can scrawl them (and get away with it!) hopefully we'll have new members in place very soon! If you see an ad please share it, shout about it and point people in our direction, and if you know someone (based West Kent / East Sussex) who may fit the band let us know and let them know we are looking.
So that leaves us to say thanks to our label Vyper Records for sticking with us in our quiet time, thanks to all of you who follow support and listen to Hell Drivers, and especially cheers to The Beatmaster and to Mutt. Been a blast? Hell yes!!
Keep your eyes peeled on our Facebook or over on Twitter for the most up to date news on our recruitment drive and when you can see us gigging next.
Cheers Gram and Marc - Hell Drivers - A Rock and Roll Band

New album writing underway!
Hell Drivers are writing the next album! Yes watch this space, follow us on Twitter or like us on Facebook to find out all the latest news on Hell Drivers latest project. After the success of the 2012 debut album Songs of Roads and Love and Hate which has seen the band signed to Vyper Records with worldwide distribution via Code7, we are now working on album number 2! OK many would say 'the difficult second album' but not us! In 2014 we released the EP Take a Trip which proved the wheels are without a doubt rolling when Hell Drivers are writing. More very soon!
Vyper Records sign Hell Drivers
Hell Drivers have signed to Vyper Records the label owned by former Witchfynde and current ZXY man Andro Coulton. The CD debut album Songs of Roads and Love and Hate is now available via the Vyper Records website. This is such great news for the band not only do we get input and mentorship from Andro who is without a doubt one of the founders of NWOBHM but we also get to rub shoulders with the other great bands on the label. All of Vyper Records artist Andro Coulton's ZXY, The Filth Hounds, Gee Harlequin, Devils Answer and Witchfynde are highly recommended by Hell Drivers as must hear bands!
